IPL 2017: Irfan Pathan could have a Chance to Replace Injured Dwayne Bravo


Indian team all-rounder Irfan Pathan have a chance to play in IPL 2017 for injured The Gujarat Lions’ all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. Bravo suffered from hamstring injury through the tournament and it been now official that he will be ruled out from the IPL 2017.

The Gujarat Lions’ skipper Suresh Raina said,”Yes, Dwayne is ruled out of the tournament. He had been doing all the rehab but just couldn’t take the heat. Would need another few weeks to get ready. We need to have a chat with the management and see who could be the replacement.”

The team owner of Gujarat Lions Keshav Bansal said,”Bravo had a hamstring injury a couple of months back and he is still recovering. He will be coming to Rajkot in the next seven days and we have deployed a dedicated fitness trainer for his recovery but he will most likely be missing the first leg of the IPL.”

Notably, DJ Bravo is one of the best all-rounder in world cricket in current generation and also an important player for the Gujarat Lions. His absence will make an impact to team and also Gujarat Lions picks a 7th position in points table so team has to put more effort to win all upcoming matches.
