Stats: Top 10 Batsmen Fastest to Score 9000 One Day International Runs


India’s limited over skipper MS Dhoni became the 6th batsman fastest to reach the 9000 ODI runs. During the 3rd ODI against New Zealand at Mohali, India. MS Dhoni completed his 9000 runs in One Day Internationals after hitting the six off Mitchell Santner. The Indian captain became the 5th Indian to complete 9000 runs in ODI cricket and 17th in overall. He became the first batsman to go past the milestone with an average over 50.

As a Wicket Keeper, MS Dhoni became the third Wicket-Keeper Batsman to reach 9000 runs in ODI.
